  • Students must create their own Kata routine between five and ten techniques. This must be submitted in writing to examiners a minimum of three months prior to the student having their grading.


  • Ken Jutsu:

Etiquette, Focus, Posture and Control are to be in the forefront of the mind of the student when katana and bokken are being used. For examination the student will perform all kata solo with katana, and in pairs with shinai.
